Concerned About Crime? Attend KMUW Engage ICT on Jan. 30!

Every month, KMUW offers a free community conversation on an interesting topic in a series called Engage ICT: Democracy on Tap.

Crime and Safety is the first event in KMUW’s social health series and will be held at Roxy’s Downtown (412 1/2 E. Douglas) on Tuesday, January 30, at 5:30 p.m..

Participants will discuss crime trends and how to make our community safer for everyone. Panelists will include Dr. Andi Bannister, interim director of the WSU School of Criminal Justice; Adam Barlow-Thompson, founder of the nonprofit Neighboring Movement; Darryl Carrington, WSU community liaison; and Wichita Police Lt. Wendell Nicholson.

Oh, and BTW, appetizers are provided. (!) Be engaged, be informed, and be fed!
